Only Coco Chocolates make handmade single-origin chocolates. Their chocolates are made using sustainably sourced ingredients. They create a wide range of flavours of bars, including amazing seasonal flavours such as Mince Pie milk chocolate bar and Orange Whisky Marmalade dark chocolate bar.
Where are you based in the UK?
In Rye, East Sussex, on the sunny south coast. We have a chocolate shop in Rye and one in Hastings. All our chocolate is produced by us in Rye Harbour.
How did you start your business?
We’ve always loved chocolate (who doesn’t?!). We realised we couldn’t find British chocolate that tasted good and didn’t have any nasty added ingredients So we set out on a journey to learn to make only the best chocolate, sourced single origin (each type of chocolate comes from a specific country – you can really taste the difference and purity). It’s been an amazing journey ever since.
How did you choose the name of your business?
Only Coco Chocolates: only quality ingredients, only cocoa, no fillers or nasty extras.
What do you enjoy most about the creative process?
Getting to experiment with new flavours and find new combinations and pairings.
Where do you make your products?
In our chocolate factory (we’ve got plans for a chocolate river and magic elevator).
What is your hero product or one that means the most to you and why?
Salted caramel milk (cocoa from Venezuela) bar with a soft centred filled with handmade salted caramel. We spent months finding the right balance of salted caramel and chocolate to create the perfect blend

Follow your passion – work as hard as you can to achieve your dream and just go for it!
